Bologna Central Station

Thanks to the city's strategic location, it is considered an important train hub in Italy.

The station is used daily by around 160.000 persons, or 58 million a year, making it the 5th most important railway station in Italy in 2006.

The first Bologna Centrale station was constructed in 1864.  A new station was built ten years later on the same grounds.


San Donato Station

Is a goods-station with its 33 railway tracks, is the largest in Italy in size and traffic.
