By september 2006 Thai was using 5 ultra long A340-600 and 3 ultra long range  A340-500. The rest of the fleet was the same compared to one year earlier.

In september 2005 Thai was using 18 Boeing 747-400 and 2 Boeing 747-300. 6 Boeing 777-300 and 8 Boeing 777-200. They also owned 10 Boeing 737-400 (of which 3 were leased out). From Airbus they used 21 Airbus A 300-600 and 12 Airbus A 330-300. Also 2 ultra long A340-600 and 2 ultra long range  A340-500. They still used the 4 MD - 11 airplanes and they had 2 ATR-72 aircraft.

Thai B747-400

In 2003 Thai airlines was using 16 Boeing 747-400 and 2 Boeing 747-300. They also used 14 Boeing 777 and 12 Airbus A 330. They also used 4 MD-11 airplanes. They also used 16 Airbus A 300-600. They also used 10 Boeing 737-400 airplanes.

In 2004 their routes were between Bangkok and Europe (Frankfurt, Paris, Copenhagen). Thai also connected Bangkok with the United States (Los Angeles via Tokyo). In 2004 Thai was also connecting Bangkok with Australia (Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Brisbane). In 2004 Thai also proviced flights within Asia between Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Osaka, Shanghai, Seoul, ....

In 2004 Thai was a member of the Star Alliance (Lufthansa, scandinavian, united, ...)
