By september 2006 Continental airlines fleet consisted of the following aircraft: 16 Boeing 777-200ER, 16 Boeing 767-400ER, 10 Boeing 767-200ER, 41 Boeing 757-200 (which will be equiped with winglets for international operations), 17 Boeing 757-300,  12 Boeing 737-900,  104 Boeing 737-800, 36 Boeing 737-700, 48 Boeing 737-300, 63 Boeing 737-500.

In 2003 Continental airlines had 18 Boeing 777 - 26 Boeing 767 - 49 Boeing 757 - 278 Boeing 737 - 5 DC 10 - 51 MD-80 airplanes.

In 2003 Continental was flying over the North Atlantic, between New York and cities in the UK (London, Glasgow, Manchester), Dublin, Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Rome, Milan, Madrid. They were also flying between Houston and Tokyo, Honolulu, Hong Kong. From New York they served many destinations in the Caribbean. From Houston they served Mexico. They also had some service to South America like to Sao Paulo, Rio, Lima, Guayaquil and Bogota.

The DC 10 has been used between Newark (New York) and London, Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Zurich. In 2003 these airplanes were standing useless as newer aircraft models are being used on these routes.
